Born in May 9th in Karachinar village, Shahumyan district of Azerbaijan SSR. Educated in Abovyan city grade School N 7. From 1981 – 1983 served in the military. From 1983 – 1985 worked at the "Cirius" factory, ”Abovyanshin” as a laborer. 1986 - 1991 Yerevan State Institute of arts&theatre, producing depatement, specialized as director for the drama theatre, also is an actor of theatre and film.

From 1984 – 1994 worked in Yerevan State Theatre of Pantomime, in theatre-studio "Yerevan", also worked in “Armenfilm" productions – film studio, is an actor of ”Hamazgain” theatre, From 1992 - 1994 "AR- Theatre of Yerevan" , is a Founder and a Director of arts.

From 1989 – 1992 tought at "Mkhitar Sebastatsi" learning complex, was a methodoligist, leader of the esthetics course, was a member of the directors board. From 1993 – 1997 founded Arts and Literature monthly “Arar”, and was the productions chief. From 1995 – 1997 was Directed the Theatrical-Production Complex "Arar" during the Ministry of Culture of Armenia. In 1995 was a candidate for parliament, during the race into the National Parliament of Armenia.

From 1997 – 2005 was employed as a principal at the Yerevan city Grade School N 61. From 1989 -2004 dealt with problems of juvenile delinquents and child prostitution, adaptation problems of refugee children and children of the less fortunate families.

On February 3 1998 became a member of a political party "Nor Ughi" (A New Way), In 1999 became a Party board member and advanced to vice president. During the presidential race in 1998, he leads Ashot Bleyan’s headquarters for preliminaries.

From 1999 – 2001 he was the main advisor and president in Public advice for protection of a political prisoner Ashot Bleyan. In 2000 declared his candidacy for the next race for National Senate of the Republic of Armenia that took place after the terrorist acts in the parliament. And before the race rejected the candidacy and called to boyqote it.

In 2001 after A.Bleyan was freed, he withdrew from the party. In 2002 ended his political career. From 2002 was a member of the founders board, and currently is the chairman of Caucasus Center of Peace-Making Initiatives.
